Pikes Peak is a mountain located in the Rocky Mountains of North America, specifically in the Front Range of Colorado, United States. It is one of the most famous peaks in the region and stands at an elevation of 14,115 feet (4,302 meters).

Located to the west of Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, also known as America’s Mountain, attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Famous for its scenic beauty, recreational opportunities, and rich history. The summit can be reached by hiking, driving, or taking the Pikes Peak Cog Railway. The mountain offers spectacular views of the surrounding area, including the Colorado Springs skyline, Garden of the Gods, and the Continental Divide.

Pikes Peak is also known for inspiring Katharine Lee Bates to write the poem “America the Beautiful” in 1893, after she saw the panoramic view from the summit.
